1. Jarl Olaf T. and his gang of boy and girl Vikings invested the Anderson High School in Lerwick on Friday 9 March, from around 9 a.m., and all were made welcome by ASN pupils and staff. It is always a very special visit, as young and adult warriors and princesses appear at the annual South Mainland Up Helly Aa.
  2.  Da galley was christened Spindrift, and one of the shields was made by the ASN pupils in Lerwick.

  3.  A  fantastic gathering in the new AHS building.

Ian Bray fae Sandwick felt so happy to be here.

As much as he and his followers felt when they gathered at Sandsayee that very same night to set Spindrift alight.

Women, men and bairns (kids) united as a community and rejoicing at such spectacle in a spirit of parity as it happened in the Viking world.
